Price examples
The price examples given in the table are costs that patients with statutory health insurance would have to cover themselves. These are the so-called co-payments. These costs vary depending on the individual situation and are based on the scale of fees for dentists (GOZ). However, there are also treatment options for which there is an alternative without a co-payment.

Explanation of the price examples
Our practice is a family-run practice, which means that we have no economic pressure from external investors and do not have to adhere to a profit-oriented pricing policy, as would be the case with a commercially run clinic. As a result, our prices are generally lower than those of other practices and clinics. It is important to us that we offer our patients the highest quality materials and the most modern dentistry to ensure the best possible treatment. We see ourselves as genuine dentists who focus on the well-being of our patients and constantly educate ourselves to keep up to date with the latest medical developments. This combination of high-quality materials, state-of-the-art dentistry and cost-efficient practice management enables us to improve the health and well-being of our patients in the long term and to offer them a reasonable price.
Tax relief
The co-payment for dentures can reduce the tax burden. Costs that are not covered by health insurance can be declared in the annual income tax adjustment or income tax return under "extraordinary expenses".
"Expenses for implants, crowns, bridges or fillings are recognized as "extraordinary expenses" and are therefore tax-deductible," comments Dirk Kropp, Managing Director of ProDente. Tax courts also allow five-figure amounts for implants. (Source: ProDente)
